Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of MeldCrew — the space-sharing marketplace where businesses rent out the hours their space sits idle to vetted operators. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. This is template copy provided as a starting point and should be reviewed by your own legal advisor before publishing.

1. Using MeldCrew

You must be authorised to list the space you register and to grant access to it during the hours you offer. You agree to provide accurate information about your space, its hours, and its condition.

2. Hosts and operators

MeldCrew connects hosts (who list spare space and hours) with operators (who run a service in those hours). Any booking is an agreement between host and operator, facilitated by MeldCrew. MeldCrew holds payment and provides a standard agreement, but is not itself the provider of the space or the service.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not misrepresent your space, its hours, or your business.
  • Do not use a booked space for unlawful, harmful, or unsafe purposes.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or scrape the service.

5. Payments & insurance

Bookings are paid through MeldCrew, which holds funds and releases the host's share according to the agreement. Cover is provided as described at the time of booking; hosts and operators remain responsible for their own statutory obligations.

6. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the service over time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, MeldCrew is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform or any booking made through it.
